For many eldest daughters on the Upper East Side, life is structured, efficient, and demanding — yet emotionally draining in quieter ways. High expectations and self-criticism often develop early and can persist long after they’re helpful. Trauma-focused therapy supports a deeper understanding of these patterns and how they affect relationships and well-being.
Clients in this area often appreciate virtual therapy because it integrates seamlessly into busy professional lives. They’re looking for evidence-based care that offers depth and consistency without adding logistical stress.
